Proud history, bright outlook. TS Imagine: built for this moment

500 leading financial institutions, one platform. A $100M investment in a data foundation, built before the market demanded it. This is the TS Imagine story.

Our History

TS Imagine was formed in 2021 from the combination of TradingScreen and Imagine Software, two firms with decades of heritage in capital markets technology. Today, 500 leading financial institutions use our solutions, including Bank of America, Millennium Management, and Jefferies Wealth Management.

We Built the Foundation for Capital Markets AI

Before the market demanded it

In 2021, TS Imagine began a $100 million investment to build a unified data foundation and proprietary ontology, not because clients were asking for it, but because our experts knew machine learning fails when the underlying data is fragmented.

Gartner confirmed the stakes in May 2026: a lack of semantics causes inaccurate AI agents and wasted spending. Capital markets firms building AI without a governed semantic foundation are building on sand.

TS Imagine is built on bedrock

Production-grade and deployed at scale

By 2024, the data foundation was live and delivering across four dimensions

Data coverage at depth

A cross-asset liquidity network spanning hundreds of endpoints and millions of financial instruments, seamlessly integrated and always current. We spend $15 million annually on data licenses from the world’s leading market data providers. Clients access it from day one.

Embedded AI across trading and risk management

Unstructured data converted systematically into structured, machine-learning-ready inputs.

Rigorous post-trade intelligence

Automated best execution validation against hundreds of optimized benchmarks.

End-to-end prime brokerage coverage

PrimeOne combines operational and financing data with RiskSmart’s real-time risk analytics, giving prime brokers a genuinely comprehensive solution, not a collection of disconnected tools.

The intelligence layer capital markets have been waiting for

That foundation is now accessible through TSIQ. Most AI in capital markets is built on generic data, document libraries, or fragmented legacy systems, producing outputs that cannot be trusted in production because the underlying data is ambiguous, inconsistent, and ungoverned.

TSIQ is different. It draws conclusions from live order, execution, financing, and risk data, structured by a proprietary semantic layer where every entity, metric, and dimension has a single unambiguous definition. TSIQ answers questions, recommends actions, and runs workflows, grounded in your data, governed by our foundation. You get the capabilities without the five-year build or nine-figure investment, and without the fragmented legacy systems that make AI untrustworthy in production.

Our AI and Data Engineering team continuously maintains the ontology that makes it possible. When TSIQ provides an answer, you can trust it and act on it.

Actionable, explainable intelligence for capital markets.
Your data, our foundation.

Frequently asked questions

What is a semantic layer, and why is it important?

A semantic layer is the governed translation between raw data and the language a business uses. It defines every entity, metric, and dimension, a position, an exposure, best execution, a margin requirement, once and unambiguously, so that any query, report, or AI agent resolves to the same answer.

In capital markets this matters because the underlying data is typically fragmented across order, execution, position, risk, and financing systems, each with its own conventions.

Without a semantic layer, AI generates analytics that firms cannot defend to regulators, counterparties, or their own compliance and legal teams.

TS Imagine’s semantic layer is built on a proprietary ontology maintained by its AI and Data Engineering team, and it is the foundation on which TSIQ runs.

What is the difference between a unified data layer and a semantic layer?

A unified data layer solves for access: it brings data from many systems into one place, under one model, so it can be queried together.

A semantic layer solves for meaning, defining what each field is, how each metric is calculated, how entities relate to one another, and which definition is authoritative.

Unified data without semantics still leaves “exposure” meaning three different things in three systems.

TS Imagine built both: a single platform foundation spanning execution, risk, and financing data, and a governed semantic layer on top of it. The first makes data available. The second makes it structured for machine learning.

What does TS Imagine’s AI control framework cover?

TS Imagine’s control framework keeps a human in the loop across all three levels at which TSIQ operates: explain, recommend, and act.

Every output is traceable back to the client data and ontology definitions it was derived from, so a user can see not only what TSIQ concluded but why.

Recommendations are surfaced for review rather than executed silently, and any action TSIQ takes on a workflow is governed by the same permissions, limits, and audit trail that apply elsewhere on the platform.
