Gary Flower is Managing Director of LoanSmart at TS Imagine, leading product development for the firm's securities financing platform following TS Imagine's acquisition of Appendium in 2025. Gary co-founded Appendium and spent twenty years building its front-to-back SFT platform — a testament to his ability to translate deep domain expertise into enterprise-grade technology. His career spans trading, operations, and fintech, including roles as Securities Lending Desk Head at Morgan Stanley London and Global Head of Equity Finance at Nomura. He has also consulted for a number of top-tier institutions, including JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Barclays, and UBS. Gary brings rare breadth to product development — combining first-hand trading experience with hands-on technical delivery across position management, collateral optimisation, automation, and the full SFT lifecycle.
